Snikket aims to provide consistency and a friendly entrance to the world of XMPP, focusing on secure personal messaging as an open alternative to proprietary messaging apps. The primary use case for Snikket currently is secure personal messaging, aiming to provide an alternative to apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
