Local AI Ownership
You own the AI; it runs on your hardware without cloud dependency.
Hitoku (秘匿) is a Japanese word meaning concealment, the deliberate act of keeping something hidden and protected. It's the same word used in legal contexts for attorney-client privilege and for code names. We chose it because privacy shouldn't be an afterthought. It should be the foundation. Hitoku brings AI fully local so your data stays on your device, not on someone else's servers. Sensitive emails, notes, records, and workflows are processed privately. No cloud account, no telemetry, no unnecessary exposure. Local AI also gives teams more control: run models in-house, adapt workflows around your own data, and keep confidential knowledge where it belongs. We believe the future of AI is private, fast, and owned by the people who use it. We're working to commoditize AI: to make it as cheap, ordinary, and personal as the computers it runs on, instead of a metered service rented from someone else's servers.
